Comments on Quality of Life from Joe Lowry
Okay folks. I have to admit that I have been extremely excited about this week's LG session. I have been formulating race strategy ever since I got Cruise Director Jan's e-mail, but I am also concerned:
1. Where is the pride, misplaced or otherwise, that should be present for an event like this? Are you all that concerned about getting smoked by my San Marino Red 2001 Honda Accord Coupe? My tricked-out ride has been modified with window film, all-weather mats, and performance-altering (yeah right) chrome exhaust tips!
2. I don't want anybody to bow out of racing because they don't think their car is fast enough, or heaven forbid, due to fear. For anyone to voluntarily decline the challenge would make my victory less meaningful.
See you tomorrow.
Joe

I'm sorry that my '96 Saturn with broken electric windows and 150,000 miles will not be able to attend. If anyone wants to borrow my car for the race, I'll even take the kid's car seats out of the back seat to lessen the weight and add an even further advantage.
Take good notes and please hold onto extra copies of any material for me!

....You never know what us "girls" are going to have up our sleeves! Let's see who is afraid of driving fast! I have a lead foot and am not afraid to use it...Here is the riddle of the day:
"What is purple and yellow and goes really fast?"
See you tomorrow!
1. Jan, this is what you call an important posting?
2. Joe, I'm shaking...hope you don't mind losing to a girl...I predict a red or green will win!
See you on the racetrack! Marjorie
Now this is more like it. A little smack talk never hurt anyone.
Marjorie...Yellow and Blue make GREEN...so they can't win without us! I wouldn't count out the blues! We can be quite resourceful when necessary... ;-)
Who won?
