Great photos Jan! I too would like to wish everyone a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving weekend. Remember, we have lots of parks in Gainesville that are great for burning calories-just in case you have too many helpings of yams or pie...
See you soon--Marjorie
Have a Happy & Peaceful Thanksgiving everyone!
It is wonderful to give to Alachua County Public Schools and Lake Forest Elementary - they need as much help as we can give them.
Yesterday, I was out at Metcalfe Elementary (similar to Lake Forest) while they had a fire drill. There were so many children without a jacket, sweater or coat standing in the cold, it was sad. Maybe if parents don't have to spend as much on food/gifts they can buy warm clothing and shoes.
There is so much need in this world, I'm proud to be identified with a group of people who care about our community so much!
